Aloha, I'm Virginia!
In addition to working in the medical field, I'm a biologist, published scientist, and an outdoor freelance writer. I enjoy traveling to fish destinations such as Hawaii, Florida, and Baja to fish for marlin, tuna, mahi mahi, tarpon, grouper, and peacock bass. My absolute favorite thing to fish for is white sturgeon. It has been a life changing experience fishing with Captain Zack! My objective is to bring awareness to the preservation of this prehistoric dinosaur, promote catch and release and provide clients an unforgettable experience. Hi there, I'm Gary!
After fishing with Captain Zack, for more than 20 years I have gained a fluidity on the water that is as effortless as breathing. From our prehistoric giants, the White Sturgeon to our King Salmon, Halibut, Striped Bass, Lingcod and Rockfish; I simply can't get enough. In addition I love fishing 100% Catch & Release for white sturgeon. I immensely respect this specie and I believe they are too cool to only be caught once. It's so gratifying to put clients on a fish of a lifetime and then watch that magnificent fish swim away to carry on its life.
